To avoid paying out of pocket, make sure you:
- Visit an in-network pharmacy
- Sign in to Blueprint Portal to review your plan details or call the customer service number on the back of your member ID card to confirm your coverage
- Have the pharmacist run the claim before you get the immunization
- Eligibility for this benefit varies by health plan. Always review your plan benefits to confirm coverage.
- All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians under the supervision of a pharmacist in Arkansas can vaccinate for flu and COVID for ages three and up.
- Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians under the supervision of a pharmacist in Arkansas can vaccinate children age seven and older. Those between the ages of 7 and 18 may require a prescription from a physician for all immunizations except for the seasonal flu shot and COVID.
